Google's St John’s Terminal has received an AIA New York Design Award and Citation for Biodiversity. We're very proud to have helped integrate nature with design at SJT — creating an inspiring example of how biodiversity can thrive in a dense urban setting. It's been exciting to see how creating high-quality nature — carefully designed to achieve target ecosystem functions and support focal wildlife species — has rapidly generated remarkable results, including the documentation of a number of birds never before recorded on green roofs in New York City.
